Pupil Leadership Groups
At Grazebrook, we value the positive contributions children can make to school life. We encourage our pupils to play an active role in decisions and empower them to have an impact on the school community. Pupil Groups are formed of elected children who take responsibility for different aspects of our school's provision.

Learning Council

Visits other classes to look at learning activities.

Observes learning in lessons and comments on them from the children point of view

Carries out pupil voice surveys on different aspects of school life.

Reviews the school’s curriculum offer.

Makes recommendations to governors, leadership and teaching teams.
Reading Ambassadors

Promote a love of reading across the school, including reading to younger children.

Gather pupil voice about recommended reads and share these with leaders.

Help the adults ensure reading is across the whole curriculum.

Are responsible for maintaining inspiring book corners.
Playground Friends

Support and guide other children in the KS2 playground to use the playground areas in a responsible and friendly manner.

Help set up a zone of the playground and guide other children on how to use it appropriately.

Look after equipment and designated areas.

Support the adults to create and maintain a fun relaxing atmosphere at playtime that all children can enjoy.

Commit for a day every week to fulfil their responsibilities as a playground friend.
Digital Leaders

Support with the technology curriculum.

Support new teachers to use iPads in the classroom and across the curriculum.

Ensure all technology is working and report any issues.

Model how we use technology effectively to enhance our learning.
Eco Councillors

Ensure that all children and adults are making green choices.
