At Grazebrook we work in partnership with the Institute of Education to provide Initial Teacher Training through the School Direct programme.

Grazebrook is the lead Primary School within the Grazebrook Alliance, providing high quality training for teachers of the future. We work in partnership with the Institute of Education to provide Initial Teacher Training through the School Direct programme. The Institute of Education http://www.ioe.ac.uk  is one of the largest providers of teacher training and a world renowned leader in the field. The Grazebrook Alliance is made up of other Hackney Primary Schools namely Shacklewell Primary (our Federated school), Woodberry Down Community Primary School (our partnership school) and The Garden Special School.

School Direct Programme 2015 – 2016  

For 2015 – 2016 we are offering 8 places through the school based route and all of which will be based across several Hackney Primary schools who we are in partnership with. The places are all for the Early Years initial teacher training which will lead to the award of Early Years Teacher status.

All applicants must have achieved a standard equivalent to a Grade C in GCSE examinations in English, mathematics and science and have a good degree.
